Questions, answered
Do my customers need to download an app?
No. They scan the QR code on their table and your menu opens in the phone's browser. They order and pay right there — no app, no account, no sign-up.
Do you take a cut of my orders?
No. You pay the subscription and nothing else — no commission, no per-order fees. Card payments carry Stripe's standard processing fee, which is deducted automatically and paid to Stripe, not to Counterpass.
How do I get paid?
Straight into your own account. Customers pay through Stripe into your venue's own Stripe account, and Stripe pays out to your bank as normal. Your money never passes through Counterpass.
Can I pause ordering when we're busy?
Yes. Pause and resume ordering from the dashboard in one tap, mark items or whole sections sold out, and set your opening hours so ordering closes automatically when you do.
Can I cancel?
Yes. The monthly option can be cancelled at any time and you won't be billed again. The yearly and 3-year options are billed up front for their full term. You manage billing yourself from the dashboard.
